Free Business Start-up Courses

 

Starting your own business can be a very daunting and difficult task. There are so many things to consider like the finances, the marketing and planning the future direction of your business all of which are your responsibility. Business Link provides free training workshops to help get you and your new business off to a flying start and help you to ensure your new business is built on solid foundations.

 

There is a programme of seven workshops and you can choose to attend them all or just one or two. They are designed to equip you with key business skills that will help you move your business forward.

 

• Deciding to Start - information on legal, financial and other essentials of starting a business.

 

• The Business Plan - help and advice on how to plan for the future of your business

 

• Sales and Marketing - learn the essentials of attracting new business

 

• Financial Planning - Understanding the financial aspects of running your own business

 

• Managing Money - Information about managing cash-flow and keeping effective financial records.

 

• Managing Risk - Help and advice on protecting your business from external risks.

 

• ICT for your business - Training on maximising the impact of ICT for your business.
