Media Assistants

Summary

This page contains an information about the Media Assistants who work within the Community and Cultural Development Section. Two young people who are studying media at school or college are recruited each year on a fixed term paid contract for one day per week.   

 

Photographer Hannah Britt 

 

My name is Hannah Britt, and I am the  Media Assistant Photographer here at the Oadby and Wigston Borough Council. 

 

I enjoy Photography, Art and Music. I spend a lot of my free time going to gigs, playing the electric guitar, painting or just having fun with my friends. I love to explore, whether it’s Leicester or other countries, visiting new places and meeting new people.

 

My placement ends on 3 September 2008, look out for the opportunty to apply for this post for the academic year 2008 to 2009.

 

 

  

Journalist Samantha Mauger

 

I would like to introduce myself as the  Media Assistant Reporter. I have a passion for music, dance and film of all different kinds. I also enjoy going to live gigs, watching the football and shopping in London. As a classic Mini driver, I have to spend a lot of my time renovating and repairing, as any classic car owner will know!

 

My contract ends on 3 September 2008, look out for the opportunity to apply for this post in the academic year 2008 to 2009.
