Neighbourhood Management Officer
This officer works with agencies such as the police, education and the health service, the voluntary sector and the local community to identify priority issues in Wigston and South Wigston and setting up Neighbourhood Action Teams to address them. Wigston Neighbourhood Action Team
The Wigston team addresses issues in the priority areas of All Saints and Wigston Fields wards. Information about the Wigston Neighbourhood Action Team is available here.
Current projects include a graffiti removal project |to improve the appearance of the town centre and surrounding areas and family learning events.
South Wigston Neighbourhood Action Team
This team addresses issues in South Wigston ward. Projects planned for September 2008 include graffiti removal project, family learning events and family support groups.
