Our aims are:-

• To improve the quality of the environment for all residents in the Borough through diversionary activities for young people and community safety projects
• To improve  the health and quality of life for all residents through projects promoting culturally appropriate activities and social inclusion
• To provide and maintain good recreational facilities for residents through consultation and support.
• The service is committed to reducing social exclusion and the inequalities that contribute towards poverty and deprivation
• To maintain existing and develop new effective partnerships in order to promote the social, economic and environmental wellbeing of the local community such as PCT (Primary Care Trust), Police, Voluntary Action for Oadby and Wigston.
• To secure the proper development of the Borough through community empowerment.
