Our Vision
The whole community will have the opportunity to take part in leisure activities that are physically, mentally and socially rewarding and to benefit from opportunities that aim to reduce inequalities and exclusion.
Our Aims
The Leisure Development Section aims to develop and sustain a coordinated and strategic approach to leisure in the borough. Ensuring equality of all leisure opportunities by offering a wide range of experiences that encourage participation and personal achievement. Setting a framework to work closely with other agencies to achieve this and encompassing good practice and Best Value.
