Refuse Collection

We operate a bag or dustbin system for household waste which is collected weekly. A policy of strictly 3 bags or 1 dustbin plus 1 bag per household applies.

  1. Bins or bags must be placed at the front edge of the property by 7 a.m. on the collection day.  Refuse will not be collected if left outside after 7 a.m. Actual times of collection may change due to roadworks or bad weather.
  2. All household waste must be contained within the bag or bin. Any bags which have been torn or damaged will not be collected.
  3. Material such as hazardous or special waste, needles, glass, soil, brick or rubble must not be put in the bins.
  4. Bags which are over 10 kilograms in weight will not be collected.
  5. You can find your collection day here|.
