We have set out below the dates of each meeting of the Youth Forum with links to the respective agendas, reports and minutes for each meeting.
Function of this Body
To increase public involvement in Council services by younger citizens
To deliver the Council’s policy sensitively and effectively having regard to younger citizens
The formulation of the budget & policy framework & the implementation of these in respect of youth development within the whole borough
Undertake initiatives to promote the welfare of young people
Supervise detached youth work in the borough
Administer grants relating to young peoples projects
To receive minutes and notes of meetings from the Crime & Disorder group relating primarily to Youth issues not dealt with by the Services Committee
Monitor the performance of Council services in their locality, with particular emphasis on cross-service working
