Tenant Compact
This is an agreement between the Council and residents, which sets out how tenants and leaseholders will be involved in decisions that affect their homes and communities. It explains what we have done so far and what you can expect in the future.
The overall aims of the Tenant Participation Compact are:
- For all tenants and leaseholders to have a real opportunity
to take part in the way that the Council manages their
homes.
- For the Council, tenants and leaseholders to work in
partnership. This means valuing people's opinions and
contributions and being open with each other.
- To develop tenant participation and involvement in a
steady and measured way. This will include providing
support to tenants and leaseholders to allow this to
happen.
Overall, we want to see tenant involvement help to strengthen and improve our local housing services.
