With effect from 1 January 1983, we adopted the provisions contained in Schedule 3 to the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982, which enabled it to exercise control in matters concerning sex establishments, and has determined that the appropriate number of sex establishments within the Borough should be nil.
