The development, review and implementation of our People Strategy |including the achievement of top quartile Corporate Health indicators to underpin the organisational objectives of the Council.

Fulfil a strategic corporate role in promoting and raising awareness of equality for all, contributing to mainstreaming of equality and diversity throughout all services and supporting the development and promotion of the Authority's Equal Opportunities|.

Providing advice and a responsive consultant service on all aspects of people management, training and development and employment legisation to the Council i.e. its Elected Members, Management Team, Heads of Service and staff.

Work collaboratively with government, external partners and unions to ensure that changes are implemented effectively.
