What is an Annual Monitoring Report (AMR)?
An Annual Monitoring Report is produced each year and covers the period from 1 April to 31 March. The first of these reports was produced in December 2005.
The Annual Monitoring Report will assess:
-
Whether policies are achieving their objectives and whether sustainable development is being delivered?
-
Have policies had intended consequences?
-
Are the assumptions and objectives behind policies still relevant?
-
Are the targets set in the Local Development Framework being achieved?
The concept of the Annual Monitoring Report has been developed to facilitate the monitoring of the Local Development Framework.
