Oadby and Wigston Borough Council Youth Forum

The Youth Forum gives young people a voice in the borough, they can meet councillors and tell them what facilities or services they need. Other agencies such as the police may attend sessions to listen to concerns or explain legislation affecting young people. If possible, meetings are arranged at venues where young people meet to allow for an informal atmosphere.

 

There is also the opportunity for groups or individual members of the forum to access a small Youth Council budget for trips, equipment or projects.
