Allotments

This page provides information on the allotments that we have in the borough, their locations and how to apply for an allotment along with fees pertaining to hire and contact information

There is usually a waiting list for an allotment plot. If you are interested in applying for one, we recommend you submit your application as soon as possible.

Application forms can be requested by contacting client services. We have four allotment sites containing more than 300 plots. two sites are located in Oadby and two in Wigston.

In Wigston the plots are situated on Aylestone Lane and Blunts Lane. In Oadby the plots are situated on Brabazon Road and Wigston Road. We encourage the growing of good nutritious produce as a way of improving the health of the borough.

Details:-

1. There is a refundable deposit required of £50.00p per plot.
2. Rent is £11.70p per 100 square yards.
3. A gate key is provided (where applicable).
4. Allotments are allocated in order of application date.
