Animal Welfare

The council's role in animal welfare is to issue licences to help with the regulation of animal welfare for premises such as horse riding establishments, dog breeding establishments, animal boarding establishments and pet shops. See Navigation on the left for appropriate links.

We are also responsible for dealing with lost and stray dogs.
