We have a number of community buildings and pavilions throughout the borough that are available to groups for regular hire.

The venues are available for hire on an hourly basis between 8am and 11.30pm subject to availability. On Saturday evenings all venues have a minimum charge of four hours for bookings from 5pm onwards.

Wigston

Freer Community Centre

Leicester Road, Wigston, Leicestershire LE18 1HQ

The centre offers a large hall, a meeting room, and kitchen.

Ideal for community groups and meetings, and activities such as yoga or judo.

The centre also has disabled access and disabled toilets.

20 folding tables and 60 chairs are available for users.

The maximum capacity of the centre is 90.

The centre has a large carpark with 19 spaces, including one disabled bay.

Thythorn Hill Community Centre

The centre offers a large open space, a meeting room, a kitchen, a nursing room and facilities for sports teams including two fully-equipped changing rooms.

The centre also has disabled access and disabled toilets.

Ideal for sports teams using Little Hill Football Pitches, and has previously been used to host a dance school.

10 tables and 70 chairs are available for users.

The maximum capacity of the centre is 70.

A large car park with 41 spaces, including four disabled bays and two minibus bays.

During term time the building is host to a nursery school from 9am - 3pm. Out of term, weekend, and evening bookings are available.

Sheila Mitchell Pavilion

An open space ideal for meetings, presentations and coffee mornings

Men's and women's changing facilities are also available, along with disabled access and toilets.

The maximum capacity of the pavilion is 30.

Small car park with seven spaces, including two disabled bays.
