Developer Contributions Supplementary Planning Document

This page contains information about the Developer Contributions Supplementary Planning Document, which was adopted on Tuesday, 13 December 2011, and its supporting documents.

The Developer Contributions Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) and the supporting Evidence Base for Open Space, Sport and Recreation (incorporating Green Infrastructure) provide applicants with information about the types of planning obligations that may be sought through a legal agreement to mitigate the impact of a development proposal in the borough. These documents were subject to a six week public consultation between Monday, 8 August 2011 and Monday, 19 September 2011. The Council considered all representations and implemented changes where appropriate, prior to adoption.

Please note: The figures in the table that implements a discount for Childrens and Young People's Space contribution has been amended in both documents (P.36 in Developer Contributions Supplementary Planning Document and P.13 in the Evidence Base document) to reflect the actual discount that will be applied as part of the formula. Please note that this update does not alter the methodology for which the contribution is calculated.

This Supplementary Planning Document supersedes the Council's Play and Open Space Supplementary Planning Guidance (2004).
