About the course
The golf course has an 18 hole par 72 pay and play facility. It is set in 130 acres of mature parkland. The course is 6,311 yards which offers a challenge for the more accomplished player and also an opportunity to learn and improve for the beginner. The resident P.G.A (Professional Golf Association) professional, Mr John Butler, is available all year round for advice and tuition.

The course is open every day, except Christmas Day.

Getting there
- From the M.1, leave at junction 21 and follow the signs for Leicester Racecourse.
- The course is sited next to Leicester Racecourse, off the A.6, on Leicester Road in Oadby, Leicestershire.
Bookings
Tee times need to be booked on Saturday and Sunday. From Monday to Friday you simply turn up and play. To book a time, please telephone the Pro Shop on Leicester (0116) 270 9052.

The golf course is open to everyone and anyone can come and pay and play. You do not have to be a member in order to use the facilitiy.
Yes, we do. The time this comes into force is dependent on daylight hours and the time of year. You need to telephone the Pro Shop on Leicester (0116) 270 9042 to find out when they are available.
Currently, you can play 9 or 18 holes on a weekday and the price is £9 and £12, respectively. At weekends, the cost is £15 with no 9 hole option. We operate a twilight rate, please see other FAQ for details of this.
No, there is no dress code. Casual dress is fine and you can play in trainers or shoes, if you wish to.
Generally, afternoons are quieter than mornings and if you are learning we recommend you play after 12 noon.
As you have to cross the Race Course to get to 9 of the holes, on race days this part of the course is closed. To compensate for this we charge a flat rate of £9 and you can go round the first 9 holes as many times as you wish.
Currently, the rate is £10 at weekends and you can play as many holes as you like. In the week, the rate is £9.
