Sports facilities and pavilion hire

This page gives links to access specific information on sports facilities in Oadby and Wigston including bowls, football and cricket pitches and hiring pavilions.

Bowls

Bowling can be enjoyed every year during the months of May to September, seven days a week, from 10:30 a.m. to approximately 9:00 p.m. (daylight permitting).

Bowling facilities are located in:-

• South Wigston - Blaby Road Park, Blaby Road, South Wigston, Leicestershire, LE18 4PH,
• Wigston - Peace Memorial Park, Long Street, Wigston, Leicestershire, LE18 2AJ and
• Oadby - Ellis Park, Brabazon Road, Oadby, Leicester, LE2 5HB.

Both casual play and club matches take place throughout the season at each site.

All rinks must be booked, prior to play, with the bowling Club Secretary. Please contact Client Services for details or telephone Leicester (0116) 257 2830.

Pavilion bookings

We have a number of pavilions located on parks that can be hired for special occasions such as birthdays, weddings, parties or meetings. This page lists the pavilions that can be hired from us and the prices.
