- Oadby and Wigston Borough Council is looking to appoint a Ranger for Brocks Hill county park to enhance existing habitats for the benefit of people and wildlife. You will play a key role in the day to day management of the park, regularly patrolling it and carrying out or supervising repairs. We will rely on you to lead guided walks, give presentations and develop and deliver a range of environmental education opportunities for schools and other visitors. You will also deputise in the absence of the Brocks Hill Manger which will include overseeing the smooth running of the visitor centre.
