Leicestershire County Council elections, 2017

Elections for Leicestershire County Council will be held on Thursday May 4, 2017. To vote in this election your name must be included on the register of electors.

The deadline to register for this election was Thursday 13 April 2017.

  • If you are unable to cast your vote in person because of a medical emergency or for employment reasons, you can appoint another registered elector to vote on your behalf (emergency proxy vote). The deadline to appoint an emergency proxy is 5pm on Thursday 4 May 2017. Your application will need to be supported by a medical professional or your employer. Forms can be obtained from www.gov.uk/yourvotematters, or by calling our Customer Service Helpline on 0116 2888 961.
