Savills Consultants were appointed by the Borough Council following an invitation to tender to produce a Retail Capacity Assessment which will form part of the new Local Development Framework.
The purpose of this study is to help inform the Local Development Framework in order to form a robust and credible evidence base to inform decisions about retail policy and site allocations within future development plan documents. In addition it examines the future retail need and capacity within the Borough by assessing the potential of town centres to accommodate any identified need.
