Statement of Community Involvement
A Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) is a planning document that sets out how the local community, businesses and interest groups will be involved in the preparation of planning related documents and planning applications that may affect them. All documents prepared and planning applications determined by the Council have to comply with the consultation arrangements set out in this document.
A consultation period on the Draft SCI ran for an 8 week period from 12pm on Wednesday 13 December 2023 until 12pm on Wednesday 7 February 2024.
This published version was approved by Policy, Finance and Development Committee on Tuesday 26 March 2024.
