The Café at Brocks Hill

This page provides information about the café based within the Brocks Hill Visitor Centre currently being managed by Oadby and Wigston Borough Council and includes opening times and how room bookings are catered for.

What is on offer

Visitors can purchase a light lunch or have a cake or pastry with fairly traded tea or coffee. Many of our cakes and pastries are baked in-house. A special children's menu and locally produced ice cream are also available. Special diets may be catered for, please ask staff about your specific requirements. There are picnic tables on the patio outside the café and visitors are requested not to bring their own food into the café. Here is a sample menu for the food and drink available.

Opening hours

The cafe is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (last orders for hot food will apply) and weekends and Bank Holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (last orders for hot food will apply). Fifteen minutes before closing, hot drinks will only be served as takeaways.

Catering for room bookings

The café staff provide catering for all room bookings. This may range from tea, coffee and cold drinks with biscuits to a full buffet with dessert. Party boxes are also available.
