Glass collection boxes are not available to collect. If you have a glass collection on your road, you can either request new or replacement box in person or by telephone.
To request this in person, please visit our Customer Service Centres where an order will be placed for you, to be delivered to your property. Alternatively, please contact Client Services on Leicester 0116 257 2830 to place the order over the telephone.
Brown and green recycling bags are available to collect at all of our Customer Service Centres, within the libraries of Oadby, Wigston and South Wigston. They are also available to collect from Reception of the main Council Offices.
Alternatively, each roll of bags contains a sticky label that requests 'More Bags Please'. Please attach this label to the colour of the bag you require more of when your bags are placed out for collection.
If you have difficulty with either of these methods, please contact Client Services on Leicester 0116 257 2830 who will deliver the bags to your property.
Refuse and brown and green recycling bags are collected from your property on a weekly basis. Garden waste and glass recycling (if you have a collection on your road) are collected on a fortnightly basis.
The refuse and recycling webpages will tell you when your next collection is. Alternatively, you can contact Client Services who will advise you on Leicester 0116 257 2830 or visit one of our Customer Service Centres within the libraries of Oadby, Wigston and South Wigston.
Collection of larger items should be booked in with Client Services as a separate collection. This will not be taken with any other collection.
