Decorate a pot and plant your own plants to take away. Look after them and you will be muching your own tomatoes later in the summer. Plants and pots will be provided.

The Archaeology of the Oadby and Wigston Area
The centre is fully accessible.
Peter Liddle of Leicestershire Fieldworkers gives this illustrated talk about what we know of the archaeology of the area. Bronze Age burials, Roman farms and, perhaps, a temple, Anglo-Saxon cemeteries and medieval villages will all feature! A chance to handle some finds and hear about a new group. Organised by the Friends of Brocks Hill Country Park.
This is an adult event but would be suitable for children of 12 years and over. Cost is £3.50 per person but £2.50 for members of the Friends Group.
