Health and safety for beginners
The theory session will look at how to manage health and safety for community and volunteer groups. The evening will include risk assessments, management techniques and relevant legislation. Handouts provided. Refreshments provided. The session will include opportunities to practice aspects of risk assessment in and around the Brocks Hill centre.
This event is suitable for adults and costs £7.50 per person. Booking is advisable.

Are you having a post Christmas declutter?
Give away items such as: books, small electricals, DVDs/CDs, tools, clothes, shoes, toys, etc.
But these cannot be accepted: large furniture, white goods, broken or dirty items.
You can drop items off from 10:00 am and it will be open to take things from 10:30 am (even if you have not donated anything).
There will be experts on hand to show you how to sew and spruce up clothing or furniture.

We welcome for the first time at Brocks Hill Danielle Vaughan a local artist who specialises in creating incredible images from recycled paper. Come and join in this taster session, with lots of tearing and ripping of paper as Danielle leads you in creating your own piece to take home.
