Japanese Book Binding at Brocks Hill
Explore the art of Japanese stab binding, learning how to hand sew together single pages to create beautiful journals, notebooks or sketchbooks and working with specialist bookbinding materials.
You will also have the opportunity to handprint a pre-carved linocut design as the book cover image. This workshop will give the knowledge to create a strong, elegant and practical book binding form. It is ideal if you are interested in or already working with the book form and printmaking but is also suitable for beginners. The cost includes all materials and light refreshments
