Hedge laying for beginners
Sorry this course is now fully booked.
An introductory day course into the traditional countryside craft of hedge laying.
The day will include an indoor theory session with handouts, followed by a demonstration in the field and a practical opportunity. There will be a free second day on Sunday 12 February to practice the techniques you will have learnt. Tools and protective equipment provided on the day.
The cost is £35.00 per person and booking is essential.

See what it is like to be a conservation volunteer for the day. You spend as much or as little time as you like. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided!
Meeting place is at the Fludes Lane entry point, next to Shiny Car Wash, on the A6 Harborough/Glen Road.
We welcome everyone regardless of ability, fitness and age, as long as you are 18 or over. You need no other skills. Families and young people are very welcome but under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.
All safety equipment will be provided, you just need to bring yourself, appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather and maybe a bite to eat!

We welcome back to Brocks Hill by popular demand Danielle Vaughan a local artist who specialises in creating incredible images from recycled paper. With the vibrant colours of the new spring to bring into this workshop come and join in with lots of tearing and ripping of paper as Danielle leads you in creating your own piece to take home.
