Sorry but due to staff sickness, this event has been cancelled.
The theme for this year’s British Science Week is “Change”, encouraging young people to think about and investigate the changes happening in the world all around us; from seasons and climate, to materials and energy. It is also a chance for young people to consider the changes they can enact to have a positive impact on the future.

Introduction to printmaking and bookmaking
With Mandeep Dhadiall you’ll explore the basics of bookmaking, learning how to make the Japanese flower book, beak book and an accordion book with pockets.
Create images to the inside pages of your books using simple printmaking techniques together with collage to make zines, short for magazine, but with a twist! This workshop aims to inspire you to continue making simple, fun, yet very effective books at home and shows you how to incorporate your own artwork and creativity into book form. Suitable for beginners.
The cost is £20.00 per person and booking is essential.
The session is led by Mandeep Dhadiallo under her new studio name of 'The Laughing Cactus Printmaking Studio'.
