Overview
Oadby and Wigston Borough council are looking for two Premises Officers to join our Corporate Assets management team to carry out a full range of maintenance, repair and general attendance tasks across our property and teams. There are two roles available, working alternate hours back-to-back in a coordinated shift pattern to cover full days. Monday to Friday 6.30 am through to 9.00pm (630 am – 1.00 pm – 1.00pm – 9.00pm) There may be occasions where a weekend day may be required to work for cover in which week days can be taken off in lieu of days worked. The role will include working both inside and outside, sometimes in adverse weather conditions. Working to a certain extent on your own initiative, and working in a number of diverse and varied environments, you should have excellent time management and organisational skills in order to program your work efficiently and logically.

Parking Administrator (12 Months Fixed Term)

Overview
Oadby and Wigston Borough council are looking for an experienced, ambitious and passionate Administrator to join our Law and Democracy team. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic administrator with an eye for detail who support the Corporate Assets team and is required to administer the councils’ off street parking operations including pay and display machines, pay by phone, parking permits and appeals against penalty charge notices. This will include monitoring the status of the council’s pay and display machines via software, monitoring the cash collection contract and reconciling income along with maintaining the council’s parking permit scheme. In addition, provide cover for cemeteries and allotments service, community bookings, sports pitches, pavilions, green team, cleansing, street furniture, community events development, land ownership issues, complaints and enquiries, and administration to the corporate assets property portfolio.
