Public Meeting: Land opposite Stoughton Farm Park

*** Following the public meeting held on the evening of Thursday 28 March 2019 where a range of matters relating to the proposal were discussed with an attendance that well within anticipated levels, the further meeting that had been scheduled in for Tuesday 2 April 2019 will not take place. ***

VENUE CHANGE

The public meeting will take place at 7.00pm at the Brocks Hill Visitor Centre, Washbrook Lane, Oadby, Leicester, LE2 5JJ on Thursday, 28 March 2019. The purpose of the meeting is to enable any matters associated with the proposed scheme to be raised. The meeting has been moved to the Brocks Hill Visitor Centre to accommodate greater capacity.

Please note that should attendance exceed the capacity of the venue a further meeting will be held on Tuesday, 2 April 2019 at 7.00pm at Manor High School. If it is necessary to hold this further meeting it will be confirmed on the Council’s website. In addition, a summary of matters raised and responses given at the meeting on 28th March will be published on the Council’s website.

Residents are invited to a public meeting in respect of the current planning application at the land opposite Stoughton Farm Park, Gartree Road, Oadby that is seeking outline planning permission, with access, for the demolition of the existing buildings located at Stoughton Grange (including 2x dwellings) and the subsequent construction of up to 310x dwellings across two land parcels (Stoughton Grange and land to the south of Gartree Road), with associated landscaping, public open space, on-site infrastructure and car parking provision including a new reconfigured car park for Stoughton Grange, and private amenity space.

The public meeting will take place at 7.00pm at the Walter Charles Day Centre, Wigston Road, Oadby, LE2 5QA on Thursday 28 March 2019. The purpose of the meeting would be to enable any matters associated with the proposed scheme to be raised.

Due to the limited capacity of the Walter Charles Day Centre please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
