Public Meeting: Land opposite Stoughton Farm Park (General Q&A's Summary)

A summary of the general questions and answers (Q&A's) arising from the public meeting in relation to the proposed development of the land opposite Stoughton Farm Park, Oadby held at the Brocks Hill Visitors’ Centre, Washbrook Lane, Oadby on Thursday, 28 March at 7:00 pm can be accessed and viewed below.

Following this public meeting, where a range of matters relating to the proposal were discussed with an attendance that was well within anticipated levels, the further public meeting that had been scheduled for Tuesday, 2 April will now not take place.

The planning application relating to the proposed development (application number 18/00178/OUT) is due to be determined by the Development Control Committee at its meeting scheduled for Thursday, 11 April at 7:00 pm to be held in the Main Hall at Wigston College, Station Road, Wigston.

A summary of all those representations voiced at the public meeting itself will be contained within the Planning Officer’s report which will be considered by the Committee on 11 April. No formal minutes of the public meeting will be produced.

The Planning Officer’s report, as part of an agenda reports pack, will be available for inspection at the Council’s Offices during ordinary business hours (between 09:00 am - 5:00 pm) at least 5-clear working days before the meeting (by Wednesday, 3 April) and on the Council’s website.
