South Leicestershire's largest youth festival, Supersonic Boom is back for 2019!
This year's Supersonic Boom will take place on Wednesday, 14 August 2019 on Blaby Road Park, South Wigston. Running from 1pm to 5pm, Supersonic Boom will showcase local talent and feature various stalls, attractions, challenges and activities.
Mark Smith, The Council’s Community Safety & Youth Officer said, “This event traditionally marks the end of the school summer holiday, making it a fantastic day out for young people, children and families. It also raises money in support of the Borough’s Youth Council. In 2018 we had a phenomenal turnout of over 1600 people. We expect the attendance to be very high again in 2019”.
Why not come along and join in the fun, and raise money for a worthwhile cause.
Accompanying the live entertainment and attractions at Supersonic Boom will be a variety of stalls for local businesses, services, charities and community groups.
If you would like to operate a stall or be a performer at Supersonic Boom Oadby and Wigston Borough Council would like to hear from you. Supersonic Boom is a great means of promoting the services you offer to the Borough or raising the profile of your business.
Performers and stall holders who are interested in Supersonic Boom are invited to contact Mark Smith, the Council's Community Safety & Youth Officer, on 0116 257 2675 or via email@example.com for an informal discussion about getting involved.
