Schools have been doing amazing work to support the NHS and local charities. Learning South Leicestershire School Sport Partnership (LSLSSP) wanted to join the effort and are launching a charity fundraiser, ‘Lap for the NHS’. The aim of the fundraiser is to raise as much money as possible for the Leicester Hospitals Charity.
Inspired by Captain Tom Moore, Learning South Leicestershire School Sports Partnership are challenging children of key workers to do 100 laps of their school playground and children at home to do 500 laps of their garden to raise money for the NHS through Leicester Hospitals Charity. The charity challenge can be done individually or families and school children can participant in a relay. The laps can be split over a maximum of 5 days, this means it can be done during break and lunch times in schools. The deadline to complete the ‘Lap For the NHS’ is Friday 22nd May.
