How and who should book a Coronavirus Test

HOW TO BOOK A TEST

For residents who have received a leaflet or a text message from their GP, regardless of whether you have symptoms or not please book a test online at nhs.uk/ask-for-a-coronavirus-test or call 119. Please note that appointments are released on a block booking basis so please keep checking the online site throughout the day to get an appointment. The Mobile Testing Units are by appointment only.

For all other residents if you have symptoms of coronavirus or you’ve been in close contact with someone who has had symptoms, please get tested as soon as you can.

What are the main symptons?

  • high temperature
  • continuous new cough
  • loss of smell
  • loss of taste

Home Testing Kits - Residents who are elderly, shielding, vulnerable or less mobile can request a home test to be sent to them. Home test kits are available either on-line or by dialling 119.
