Open Letter from the Leader of the Council, Councillor John Boyce.
"The COVID crisis has been a challenge to all of us. I thought it would be helpful to write to you all expressing my thanks for the way the whole Borough has reacted. There has been a genuine coming together of our community. The document below shows, the Council has had the help of many volunteers in supporting our residents. As a Council we have adopted a business as usual approach with many extras as a result of the crisis.
I believe we need to continue our efforts to deal with the pandemic, whether it be washing our hands or maintaining social distance every little step helps. As a community we will overcome. Once again can I thank all residents and the staff of the Council for its support and commitment over the last 6 months."
Throughout the COVID19 Pandemic the Council have been providing business as usual services as well as those related to COVID19. To view some of the highlights of the Council’s activity, click here: Supporting our Community (PDF Document, 469.49 Kb)
