The Great Big Oadby & Wigston Egg Hunt

Published: Friday, 26 March 2021

The residents of Oadby, Wigston and South Wigston have been busy designing bright and colourful Easter Eggs which will be hidden across the borough as part of the Great Big Oadby & Wigston Egg Hunt. Get out and explore your local parks, green spaces and communities as you hunt for the eggs.

Eggs will be on an A4 sized poster with an individually assigned code, which is made up of two letters and two numbers. As you discover the eggs make a note of each code and then enter them on to www.activeoadbywigston.org.uk/egghunt to receive your certificate. If you find 15 or more egg codes you’ll become a Golden Egg Hunter and be entered in to a prize draw to win an Amazon voucher, with 3 runners up receiving a physical activity pack.

The Great Big Oadby & Wigston Egg Hunt will run from Saturday 27 March to Tuesday 6 April, with Egg Codes being accepted until 9.00am on Monday 12 April. Use #OWEggHunt to share your pictures and egg hunting fun on social media.

Please ensure while egg hunting you follow all Government guidance and regulations relating to exercise. Ensure you give other egg hunters space and remember hands, face, space. For the full list of Government guidance please visit https://www.gov.uk/guidance/national-lockdown-stay-at-home.
