Armed Forces Day events in the borough

All are invited to attend our annual Armed Forces Day flag raising ceremony, which will take place on Friday 23 June, at the Council Offices, Station Road, Wigston, LE18 2DR.

Event timetable:

10.45 a.m. – 10.55 a.m. Flag raising ceremony

11.00 a.m. Raising of Flag for Armed Forces Day

11.05 a.m. Conclusion of Armed Forces Ceremony

We are also delighted to be supporting the Armed Forces Cream Tea hosted at Elliott Hall on Sunday 25 June in recognition of Armed Forces Day.

The event takes place from 11.30am - 3pm at Elliott Hall, Albion Street, South Wigston, LE18 4SA.

The tea is free for borough veterans, and £5 per non-veteran.
