Advice Surgeries


We have a range of advice surgeries available at our Customer service centre on Bell Street in Wigston. We are working in partnership with all of the following agencies to provide support and help to our residents.

Citizens Advice Bureau

The Citizens advice surgeries offer free, indepedent, confidential and impartial advice for residents. They can provide information on issues such as benefits, employment, debt, housing, family, education, consumer, health and immigration.

The Citizens advice surgeries will be available at Bell Street on:

Monday: 9.00am - 1.00pm

Tuesday: 2.00pm - 4.00pm

Thursday: 1.00pm - 4.00pm

These are walk in sessions and you will not require an appointment.

Helping Hands

Helping Hands provide a free advice service on Welfare Benefits, Debts, Housing, Employment, Family Law and much more.
Whatever your needs, Helping Hands will always help.

The Helping Hands surgery at Bell Street is available on:

Wednesday: 10.00am - 2.00pm

These are walk in sessions and you will not require an appointment

Money Advice

The Money Advice Service helps people manage their money. They do this directly through their own free and impartial advice service. They work in partnership with other organisations to help people make the most of their money. they are an independent service set up by Government.

You can see a Money Advice advisor at the Customer Service Centre, Bell Street. Please call 0116 2888961 to make an appointment.

Police Drop In Surgery

The Wigston neighbourhood beat team provide a drop in surgery on the first Thursday of every month between 12:30 and 13:30.

A private interview room is available for people to raise any issues or concerns with the local beat team.
