“Colourful Characters of Bradgate Park”The Christmas Talk organized by the Friends of Brocks Hill is being given by Peter Tyldersley who is the Director of Bradgate Park Trust.

It will be a light-hearted review of Bradgate’s history through the lives of some of the larger-than-life characters who have lived there. Who will your favourite be? Elizabeth Woodville, who supposedly bewitched Edward IV? The Nine Day Queen, Lady Jane Grey? Thomas Grey who signed King Charles’ death warrant? The Countess who set fire to the house? Her successor who was a circus performer or her husband who spent all the money?

Please note change in venue - The Walter Charles Centre, Wigston Road in Oadby LE2 5QE.

Booking is advisable. Cost is £5.00 per person but £4.00 for members of the Friends group. Tickets from Brocks Hill Centre.
