Oadby and Wigston Borough Council operate a repairs service. We have a detailed leaflet to send you, should you require any further information on repairs.
To report repairs contact Housing Maintenance by telephone on Leicester (0116) 2888961 or email email@example.com. If you have an urgent repair it is always better to telephone rather than email.
All the repairs that you report to us are given a time limit for the work to be completed. We also use categories to decide which repairs are more urgent.
The repairs leaflet advises you on the type of repairs that we do, your responsibility as a tenant, repair priorities, emergency repairs, urgent maintenance, priority works, routine maintenance and repair delays.
If you need to report a repair out of office opening hours, please contact our out of hours service on 0800 083 96 95. Please only use this number out of hours for repairs that cannot wait until normal office opening. In most cases the emergency staff will make safe or carry out a temporary repair. The full repair will then be carried out within the specified category time limit and during normal working hours.
Payment can be accepted by cash - only at the main Council Offices and by cheque - at our Customer Service Centre or by post. Payment can be made by card either online using our payment web page or over the telephone on Leicester (0116) 257 2850. You will need your invoice reference number when making a payment.
