The Local Government Ombudsman publishes an Annual Review Letter, containing statistical information relating to the number and type of complaints that they have received against this Council and also a summary analysis of this Council’s performance in relation to those complaints.
In summary one complaint was received during the year which was investigated by the Ombudsman. The Ombudsman, other than in exceptional circumstances, will only consider a complaint made to them, after the Council’s internal complaints procedure has been exhausted.
Within the Letter, it is commented that the Ombudsman has no concerns about this Council’s response times and there are no issues arising from the complaint to bring to our attention.
