Market licences

Market traders licence

Due to the existence of a market charter granted to Leicester City Council it is not possible for a market to be held within the Borough of Oadby and Wigston without first gaining the consent of Leicester City Council. Due to this charter it is unlikely that any application for a market will be approved by this authority.

All enquiries to run a form of market within this Borough should first be directed to Leicester City Council.
