Savills Consultants were appointed by the Borough Council following an invitation to tender to produce a Retail Capacity Assessment which formed part of the Local Development Framework.

The purpose of this study is to help inform a robust and credible evidence base to inform decisions about retail policy and site allocations within future development plan documents. In addition it examines the future retail need and capacity within the Borough by assessing the potential of town centres to accommodate any identified need.
