A UK Parliamentary (General) Election will take place on Thursday, 12 December 2019 to elect a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Harborough Constituency.
To vote in this election, your name must be included on the register of electors. The deadline to register to vote for this election is Thursday, 26 November 2019. You can register online in less than 5 minutes at www.gov.uk/reigster-to-vote.
If you are already registered to vote, you do not need to re-register for this election. To check if you are registered, call our Customer Service Centre on (0116) 288 8961.
Polling cards will be sent out to all eligible citizens in advance of the election. If you do not receive a poll card, contact our Customer Service Centre on (0116) 288 8961 to check if you are registered.
You do not need your poll card in order to vote, as long as you are registered. You can check your polling station location at www.wheredoivote.co.uk.

Who can vote in UK Parliamentary (General) Elections?
You can vote in UK Parliamentary Elections if you are:
- a British citizen
- an Irish citizen
- a qualifying Commonwealth citizen (including Cyprus and Malta)
Please note: EU citizens (who are not Citizens of the Republic of Ireland, Cyprus or Malta) are not able to vote in UK Parliament elections.
