Young Citizen of the Year 2017
Oadby & Wigston Borough Council are once again seeking nominations for the title of Young Citizen of the Year.
Nominees must be aged up to 20 years (or up to 25 years with Learning Difficulties or Disabilities) and should have done something for the public good within the Borough. This can be something social, environmental or of family benefit or it could be some aspect of their activities or character which sets a high example to others. Whatever it is needs to be unrewarded and the individual must not have previously sought reward or acknowledgment.
Nominations can be made via the following methods;
- Via Email: Download a copy of the 'Young Citizen of the Year Nomination Form' (found below), complete the form with the requested details and email it to email@example.com with the subject line "Young Citizen Nomination 2017".
- Via Post: Download a copy of the 'Young Citizen of the Year Nomination Form' (found below), complete the form with the requested details and post it to;

Please ensure that any posted forms are marked for the attention of Mark Smith, Community Safety & Youth Co-ordinator.
The closing date for nominations is Friday, 28 April 2017. The winner will receive a £100 voucher, a certificate and salver, and be invited to attend the 2016 ‘Mayor Making’ event.
