Holocaust Memorial Day 2024

Today we hosted a service to mark Holocaust Memorial Day at Peace Memorial Park, Wigston - thank you to all who came and to those who made contributions.

The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Oadby & Wigston, Councillor Rosemarie Adams, as well as other members of the council, pupils from All Saints C of E Primary School in Wigston, and with reflections from local residents and faith leaders.

Local author and Holocaust researcher, Julian Harrison, also delivered an address which you can read below.
