Adopted Local Development Orders and Design Guidance
Relevant Draft Oadby Documents
The following draft Local Development Order was on statutory consultation from Monday 22nd February 2016 until Monday 21st March 2016.
The design guide (below) was drafted to provide further information about what is likely to be acceptable on the Local Development Order site and to set out the design principles that should inform any development proposals. The design guide was a result of the public consultation that took place between December 2015 and January 2016 on the test layouts and the design principles for each of the Local Development Order sites.
The Council consulted upon a number of test layouts for each of the Local Development Order sites. The previous consultation information can be accessed from the links below:
Following on from the public consultation that took place during February and March 2016, the Council produced a factual leaflet that responded to a number of concerns that were raised by residents and several town centre organisations. The leaflet (below) is specifically related to the Oadby Local Development Order (Brooksby Square) located at East Street.
Equality assessments for the following three Local Development orders were completed in May 2016.
