Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment
This page explains and provides links to the Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment.
The Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment forms a key component of the evidence base for Local Development Framework and its production is a requirement of Planning Policy Statement 3: Housing. The assessment enables local authorities to identify future sources of land for housing.
The Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment is a technical report that provides background evidence on potential housing land, but is not a decision making document and does not allocate sites for development.
