Armed Forces

Welcome to Oadby & Wigston Borough Council’s pages dedicated to supporting the Armed Forces.

The Borough Council is aRemembrance 2014 2 signatory to the Armed Forces Community Covenant and is proud of its long standing association with the local Regular and Reserve Units in the Borough, as well as the wider veteran and cadet community.

The Council's support for the Armed Forces is led by a Working Group made up of Councillors and is chaired by Cllr Bill Boulter. The Council’s Armed Forces Champion is Cllr Rob Eaton.
